English Translation

  1. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
  2. Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
  3. Most Gracious, Most Merciful;
  4. Master of the Day of Judgment.
  5. Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.
  6. Show us the straight way,
  7. The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.
Accordingly, Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam -- Peace be upon him) said that, the greatest surah in the Qur'an is none other than the Surah Al-fatihah [Sahih Al-Bukhari]. The opening surah that will surely please Allah (Subḥānahu wa ta'āla -- Glorified and Exalted be He). With that, let me start as to why this site joined the web. I've been wanting to have this, a blog that speaks about my religion, the beautiful Islam; but since then, the fear of having basic knowledge about it, holds me from endeavouring. This time, however, not anymore, a clear attempt that I am determine to pursue this greatest goal of my life -- to contribute to Islam (anything about it, In shaa Allah - if Allah wills).

Why Islamic Viewfinder?

If you are a photographer or familiar with the parts of any modern camera, the viewfinder as Google defined it, is a device on a camera showing the field of view of the lens, used in framing and focusing the picture. And analogous to that, this blog aims to share, from my perspective, what I see, know and believe in Islam. The basics that possesses me, and the advanced knowledge that soon to be sought will be the frames of several upcoming posts, with different topics to focus on, In shaa Allah -- if Allah wills.
